CoolCabanas is a brand and product line that specialises in providing innovative and stylish outdoor shelter solutions, primarily focused on beach and recreational settings. These cabanas are designed to offer shade, protection from the sun, and a comfortable space for people to relax, socialise, and enjoy outdoor activities. The BPR Team worked with CoolCabanas over the summer 2023 period to drive media mentions and awareness for two celebrity brand collaborations, with Sammy Robinson of One Mile The Label and Julian Wilson of Rivvia Projects.

STRATEGY
BPR was tasked with positive media mentions & publicity for CoolCabanas in the lead-up to and across the Australian summer period in 2023, around two brand-aligned collaborations. The media campaign aimed to promote CoolCabanas key Summer collaborations and launches, while also driving holistic awareness of the brand. Through strategic planning and execution, our team was able to generate media coverage for CoolCabanas, resulting in increased brand awareness. The campaigns also led to valuable relationships with national media targets that can be harnessed on an ongoing basis for future campaigns.
THE RESULTS
Leveraging a strategic media relations approach, the two-pronged campaign outreach resulted in 14 unique media mentions, with a potential audience of more than 7 million over a six-week period. Online coverage made up 100% of the coverage due to tight turnaround times, which drove positive SEO and direct link-to-shop functionality in line with campaign gaols. Media outlets secured included Tier One news titles including news.com.au, Yahoo! Lifestyle, marie claire Australia, 7News.com.au, Refinery29, En Route and more.
